Hello reader its Darren Webb here again with another post for your enjoyment
You know a lot of people across the globe are becoming aware of what they are putting in their bodies and are very careful to ensure they consume a healthy diet. Sadly, there is too much processed food around that contains high levels of sugar, fat, salt and additives. Problem is that processed foods don’t help your general wellness and are almost inevitable. It is good to learn what foods are good for you and what foods you need to have as part of your regular diet. There are many health experts you can consult about this such as a dietician, nutritionist or a GP or family doctor.
First you need to learn how to break down your meals. Instead of having large meals twice or three times per day, break your meals into 5 or 6 smaller meals spread throughout the day. Ensure that you eat a balanced diet. This is food containing all the necessary nutrients such as proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates, essential oils, macro nutrients and fats. When it comes general wellness & proteins, choose white over red. For instance, eat chicken meat and fish instead of beef, mutton or pork. White meat is good for you, is healthy and poses fewer risks compared to red meat. You should take red meat only occasionally.
Eat a wide variety of vegetables. Green leafy vegetables are very good for you. They include spinach, celery, kale, cabbages, carrots, broccoli, parsley and so many others. In fact, ensure there are vegetables on your plate at each meal and they should consist half of your meal. Vegetables contain essential nutrients, important vitamins, macro nutrients such as manganese, minerals and fiber. Ensure that your diet consists of fruits of various kinds. Get fruits of all different colors such as the kiwi fruit, strawberries, bananas, oranges, pineapples and all the rest of them.
You also need to include in your diet spices such as garlic and cinnamon. Garlic is quite powerful and contains many nutrients that can help combat illnesses, boost immunity and keep you healthy. Te same applies to ginger. Ginger is very powerful with antibacterial properties and lots of other benefits. It is advisable to also go for brown rather than white grains and other products. Brown rice and brown bread and healthier and are more nutritious than their white counterparts. They also have plenty of fiber which is important to the body.
Have a great week ahead folks
